Camel Caricatures and God's Call

What Personalities!
On my main blog, Wonder-full, i used camel caricatures to tell my Saturday Sisters series of Sarah & Abraham.
Actually i'm kinda uncomfortable with this.  Are you?
Yet this seems to be something that needs to be done.
When i saw these guys i was reminded of a great story i heard someone tell recently.
Our teacher had accepted a date with a man from a Christian singles site.  She made a hilarious story of it.
The poor guy began,  "I don't usually date women as old as you are."
  BUUZZZZZZ!!!!!
Not a good way to win friends and influence women.
  But. . . .

Why would he actually say such a thing?

Maybe he was scared & nervous?
  Guys get that way.
Somehow we intimidate them, we strong women.
In this case, we'll never know.  She ordered the most expensive item on the menu and trounced him every way possible the rest of the evening.
For some reason, he never called again.

The first Valentine MyGuy gave me

showed two dirty pigs.  The caption said something like, "This card reminded me of you."
  Wow.  Thanks a lot.
According to my diary, our first date had been January 18.  So this was less than a month, probably 2-3 dates later.
Dirty pigs is NOT a way to win friends and influence women.
  Or high school girls.
But instead of ripping the card in two then & there, i opened it, and read,
"Different from all the rest.  Happy Valentines Day."
  And, in his own hand,
          "Thanks for being interested."
i wonder if the teacher might have discovered something equally delightful if she'd given her date a chance.

So back to the camels

The cheeky conversation between Sarah & Abraham popped into my head when i was the photo above.
  Was it from God?
Well, it passes the "Oh no" test.
Then i thought of my teacher with her flip attitude toward the man, and remembered how many ladies have the fish & bicycle attitude these days.
i think the caption is funny.  This is a message for today.
Can i tell it better?  Probably.  Nothing on my blogs should be considered a finished piece, but a sharable draft.
It's a message for today, in a medium that can be heard.
And that, my friends, is what the Saturday Sisters series is about.
A message told and unheard may as well not be spoken.
