There are six books of poetry in the Old Testament, but one is classified in another section.
Job - Not only patience, but suffering too and the limits of man's wisdom
Psalms - the hymnbook of God's people. Each psalm is a unit, composed at different times of Israel's history, ranging from Moses' day to the Exile
Proverbs - collected wisdom, mainly collected by King Solomon and King Hezekiah
Ecclesiastes - Solomon meditates on the meaning of life
Song of Songs/Song of Solomon - a love song, which can be taken as an allegory of God/Israel, Christ/the church, while being no less literally about marriage
