My mom gave me a tremendous example of
grace in action when i was in second grade. i didn't realize what it
was until years later, though.
One night i was using the piano bench
as a table, while i watched TV with the family and pasted something
or other to something else. Right beside the paste pot was my cup of
Pepsi.
You see where this is going?
Yep, i accidentally put my paste spreader in the Pepsi.
i was distraught. Not only was i bothered by just
having done that, but i knew that was the end of Pepsi for me
that evening.
It's how i would've handled it anyway,
and probably most of you..
But my mom was very consoling. She
instantly got me another cup, and didn't say a word about my goof.
Grace. Undeserved goodness.
